Fund managers are actively encouraged to invest in their own funds as a way of aligning their interests with those of their investors. 

In 2007 Jupiter became majority owned by its employees and in June 2010 Jupiter's holding company, Jupiter Fund Management plc, was listed on the London Stock Exchange.  At listing a substantial proportion of our employees owned shares in Jupiter. We also actively encourage fund managers to invest their own money into our funds; this means our fund managers' interests are aligned with those of our clients.
