Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd has won the award for Best Group in the What Investment Unit Trust Awards 2010 for the second year in a row. What Investment is one of the UK's leading consumer finance magazines.
The Best Group award is intended to recognise the extent to which a fund management house is able to add value by performing consistently well across a range of funds over a number of time periods up to five years. Jupiter beat off competition from nine rivals to win the award, which was judged by a panel of independent experts drawn from across the industry.
John Chatfeild-Roberts, Chief Investment Officer at Jupiter, said: "This is a very satisfying achievement, particularly given the difficult market conditions we have faced in the past few years, and testament to the efforts of our team of talented fund managers".
"As a performance-driven house, our focus is on delivering value to its clients through investment outperformance across the fund range over the medium to long-term. I believe that our culture, which gives fund managers freedom to invest according to their individual convictions within the constraints of each fund's investment objectives is the best way to achieve this goal."
