Jupiter Asset Management is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Crawford as Head of Group Marketing Services.

Chris, who has more than 13 years experience in marketing, joins Jupiter from First State Investments, where he has worked as Head of Marketing and Communications since October 2002. Previously, he worked as Head of Marketing at BT Financial Group and has, in addition, held various marketing roles at Westpac Financial Services, ANZ Funds Management and ANZ Banking Group.

In this newly-created role at Jupiter, Chris will take responsibility for unit trust marketing from Gordon Davidson, Joint Managing Director of Jupiter Unit Trust Managers, and develop an enlarged marketing function to service all Jupiter's business units, including the unit trust, private client, investment trust, SRI and institutional operations.

This will free Gordon to focus his efforts on developing wholesale distribution, reflecting the trend for Jupiter to attract business from a far broader variety of clients, including new UK and international distributors as well as IFAs, asset managers, and stockbrokers.
