Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Paula Moore as Joint Managing Director.

Paula has been involved with managing Jupiter's Unit Trust Administration department, which is based in West Malling, Kent, since joining the Company in 1997. Prior to joining Jupiter, Paula worked at Fuji Investment Management Company (Europe) and also spent six years at Personal Financial Management.

The role of Managing Director at Jupiter Unit Trust Managers is jointly held by Gordon Davidson. He is primarily responsible for unit trust distribution while Paula is responsible for fund administration.

Paula takes over this role from Jane Petkovic, who has stepped down as Joint Managing Director of Jupiter Unit Trust Managers with effect from 30 April. Jane has worked at Jupiter for many years, having joined Tyndall Investment Management in 1985 and following the acquisition of Tyndall by Jupiter in 1991, continued to work at the Group until 1992. After a period at Personal Financial Management, Jane then re-joined Jupiter in 1997 and set up the Unit Trust Administration department with Paula Moore. Jane will continue at Jupiter on a part-time basis.

Edward Bonham Carter, Chief Executive of Jupiter, said: "Jane has made a tremendous contribution to developing and maintaining Jupiter's very high service standards over a number of years and I am pleased she will continue to provide the benefit of her expertise to the Company going forward. Paula, who has worked together with Jane for many years, is a very able successor and I am delighted she will be taking over."

Jane Petkovic said: "Jupiter has always demanded superior service standards for its customers and this has meant our administration department has needed to evolve to manage the increasing volumes of a growing business such as Jupiter. I have very much enjoyed my time as Joint Managing Director and am pleased to be able to continue making a contribution to the Company going forward."

Paula Moore said: "I have enjoyed working together with Jane over the past 11 years at Jupiter to develop a high quality administration function. Service remains a crucial aspect of our business and I am delighted to be taking on this role and supporting the Company's growth going forward."
