Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Ingram as Regional Sales Manager, completing the reorganisation of Jupiter's UK Wholesale sales team.
In his new position at Jupiter, Mark will be responsible for business development in the South West region, working alongside Jupiter's established Regional Sales team, which manages relationships with wealth management IFAs, stockbrokers, life company sales teams, regional offices of key national IFAs and banking IFAs.
Mark joins Jupiter from Credit Suisse Asset Management where he held the position of Co-Head of UK Retail Sales. He has over twenty years financial services experience, including previous roles at Kleinwort Benson Investment Management and GT Investment Management.
His appointment follows the recruitment of Bryan Bushnell as Business Development Manager, Wealth Management in June. Bryan joined Jupiter from New Star Asset Management where he spent eight years, latterly as Regional Sales Manager. Bryan works alongside Harry Steel and Andy Hanson in the five-strong Wealth Management team. The team are collectively responsible for managing relationships with multi managers, stockbrokers, private clients and family offices in the UK.
Furthermore, James Crossley and Neil Carter have been appointed Directors of Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd. James and Neil jointly manage Jupiter's strategic alliance relationships with national IFA groups, fund platforms and UK life companies. Their promotions reflect both the importance of this distribution channel, and the work they have done developing sales in this area.
These appointments are part of a reorganisation of the UK Wholesale sales team - a process undertaken in order to ensure that sales managers are best positioned to service client needs in the changing distribution environment. As a result of the changes, Jupiter has merged the UK-specific client responsibilities of the Financial Institutions Group into the UK Wholesale team, headed by Simon Hynes, and moved responsibility for relationships with large global clients to the International sales team, headed by Kevin Scott. Jupiter's Wholesale team now comprises of three units - UK Regional Sales, Strategic Alliances and Wealth Management. UK Wholesale reports into Sales and Marketing Director Chris Crawford, alongside Jupiter's International sales team, Hedge Fund sales team and Institutional sales team.
