Get your last minute ISA applications in on time with Jupiter
The clock is ticking for investors planning to use their 2004/2005 ISA allowance. After midnight on 5th April, investors will no longer be able to take advantage of this year's £7,000 allowance and Jupiter encourages those making last-minute applications to use one of the following options to ensure they don't miss the deadline.
Investors can apply for their Jupiter ISA up until midnight on April 5th 2005, by:
- Logging on to the Jupiter website
- Calling Customer Services on 020 7314 7600
- Posting their application to: Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd, PO Box 300, West Malling, Kent ME19 4YY
- Contacting their financial adviser
- Delivering their application by hand to Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd, 1 Grosvenor Place, London, SW1X 7JJ (until 10pm on April 5th) or; Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd, PO Box 300, West Malling, Kent ME19 4YY (until Midnight on April 5th)
Gordon Davidson, Joint Managing Director of Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd, said, "We have seen a growth in applications in recent weeks and we would expect this to increase further as the April 5th deadline approaches. We would, however, urge investors not to leave their applications until the last minute.
"The Chancellor may have extended the £7,000 ISA allowance until 2009/2010 but he has made no commitment after that date. The ISA is still, in effect, living on borrowed time and it would be a shame for investors to lose out on the substantial tax benefits on offer by missing this year's deadline."
