Guy de Blonay became lead manager of the Fund in January 2011 and was recently joined by deputy manager, Robert Mumby who took over from Philip Gibbs in October 2011. Guy and Robert have complementary investment styles.
Industry experience means that they are well qualified to challenge earnings expectations and recognise shifts in economic trends and market sentiment. Once dominant themes have been identified, the team aims to find reasonable priced companies through which to play out these themes.
