Guy de Blonay joined Philip Gibbs as co-manager of the Jupiter Financial Opportunities Fund in June 2010. They have similar investment styles which combine a top-down and bottom-up approach and their track records in bull and bear market conditions are complementary.
Vast industry experience means that they are well qualified to challenge earnings expectations and recognise shifts in economic trends and market sentiment. Once dominant themes have been identified, the team aims to find reasonable priced companies through which to play out these themes.
