The Jupiter Global Managed Fund is an actively managed and globally diverse fund designed as a core holding in a global investment portfolio. It is managed as a 'manager of managers' portfolio, utilising the skills of Jupiter's in house team of investment managers.
The Fund is headed by Simon Somerville who establishes a wider macro economic view to determine the portfolio's overall positioning.
The team covers a broad spectrum of global markets and sectors including the United Kingdom, North America, Europe, Eastern Europe, Japan and the Far East, as well as the resources and financial sectors. Simon reviews the stocks selected to ensure the overall portfolio is balanced on a sector and regional basis.
Fund manager Simon Somerville assumed lead management of the Fund in November 2011.
