Get your last minute ISA applications in on time with Jupiter << Back

The clock is ticking for investors planning to use their 2005/2006 ISA allowance. After midnight on 5th April, investors will no longer be able to take advantage of this year's £7,000 allowance and Jupiter encourages those making last-minute applications to use one of the following options to ensure they don't miss the deadline.

Investors can apply for their Jupiter ISA on April 5th 2006, by:

  • Calling Customer Services on 020 7314 7600 (service available until 10pm)
  • Posting their application to: Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd, PO Box 300, West Malling, Kent ME19 4YY (ensuring the application is received by 5th April 2006)
  • Contacting their financial adviser
  • Delivering their application by hand to Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd, 1 Grosvenor Place, London, SW1X 7JJ (until 8pm on April 5th) or; Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd, 32 Tower View, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent ME19 4YY (until 10pm on April 5th)

Gordon Davidson, Joint Managing Director of Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Ltd, said, "The strong increase in sales we have seen in recent months indicates that investor confidence in equities is finally returning. We expect this uplift to continue as the end of the tax year approaches over the coming days.

"But every year some investors inadvertently miss out on their ISA allowance because their application doesn't get in on time or because they make mistakes on their application forms that cannot be rectified before the midnight deadline. With no guarantees that the £7,000 ISA allowance will continue after 2009/2010, we would, therefore, urge investors not to risk losing this benefit by leaving their ISA applications until the last minute."
