Jupiter Asset Management is delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Davies as a UK equity analyst.

Steve, who joins Jupiter in July, will work as a member of the UK Equity Team, supporting Ian McVeigh in the management of the £1.3bn Jupiter UK Growth Fund. He has 12 years experience as a retail sector analyst and was voted number one analyst for small cap retail research by Thomson Extel in 2006.

For the past two and a half years, Steve has worked as Head of the Retail Research team at Numis Securities, covering a range of stocks with market caps ranging from £30m to £30bn. In the four years prior to that, he worked as Assistant Director in the Retail & Branded Goods Team at PwC Corporate Finance.

Ian McVeigh said: "Steve has excellent experience of analysing companies, particularly in the retail sector. We are delighted to have attracted someone of his ability to boost resources on the UK desk."
