Jupiter has appointed Simon O'Donoghue to the newly-created position of Sales Director, offshore and Nordic.

Simon, who joined Jupiter on 20 September, will work with Kevin Scott to build sales of Jupiter funds in the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Nordic markets.

Simon, who will be based in Jersey, has worked in the fund management industry for 14 years. His most recent role was at Forsyth Partners, where he spent four years as offshore sales director for the Channel Islands and Nordic markets. Before this, Simon worked in offshore sales at Invesco International and Fidelity

Kevin Scott, offshore director at Jupiter Asset Management, said: "Our plans to develop international sales at Jupiter are on track. We have already launched a series of feeder funds for investors who are non-domiciled or non-resident in the UK and, are in the process of redeveloping our Luxembourg-based SICAV.

"Simon has extensive sales expertise in the Channel Islands and Nordic markets and this will be a real advantage as we look to build our operations in these areas."
