Jupiter is delighted to announce the appointment of Alison Treharne and David Brown as sales managers.

Alison, who has six years experience in fund management sales, will join Jupiter on 3 October 2006 as Regional Sales Manager for the South West and Midlands. Alison's most recent role was at DWS, where she worked as a sales manager in the same region. She has also worked as a sales manager at Zurich and Fidelity.

Alison replaces Harry Steel, who is moving to boost resource in the UK Asset Management team. In this new role he will work with Tom Pearson, who heads this team, to support asset management clients such as fund of fund managers and stockbrokers.

Jupiter is also boosting resource in its strategic alliances team, appointing David Brown as Sales Manager. David, who joins Jupiter on 20th November, previously worked at Winterthur, where he worked as investment development manager. At Jupiter he will work with Simon Hynes, Director of Retail Distribution, to support the growth in sales from clients such as insurance companies and fund platforms.

Gordon Davidson, joint managing director of Jupiter Unit Trust Managers, said: "Jupiter has been experiencing strong growth in sales from a variety of channels and it is important that we add resource at the right time to support this new business.
