Jupiter Asset Management has appointed Melanie Wotherspoon as Director of Private Client & Charity Business Development.
Melanie, who joins Jupiter in November, has more than 18 years experience in financial services. For the past six years she has worked in the private client department at Baring Asset Management - initially as a product specialist and latterly as a Business Development Manager. This followed a year working as Manager Fixed Income Portfolio Control and two years as a business consultant, both for Baring.
Jupiter's private client business has enjoyed strong growth in the past two years with assets under management growing by 78% to £870m. Melanie's role will be to develop new relationships in order to further grow this business.
