The Jupiter Second Enhanced Income Trust PLC invests in a portfolio consisting mainly of UK listed equities, UK equity related securities (such as convertible securities, preference shares, convertible unsecured loan stock, warrants and other similar securities) and UK fixed interest securities.
The Company aims to provide:
- Zero Dividend Preference shareholders with their original capital entitlement
- Geared Income Shareholders with maximised income and returned capital
The Company won't have any structural long-term debt or invest in the shares of other UK listed companies, except in connection with any take-over offers it may make.
Anthony Nutt has managed the Company since its launch on 1 November 2004. Regarded as one of the most skilful and experienced fund managers in the industry, he has a proven ability to identify and invest in attractively valued companies with healthy cash flows, good growth prospects and capable management.
The Company is expected to wind-up on 30 October 2009.
