The Jupiter European Fund seeks long-term capital growth by investing in companies quoted on European stock exchanges.
The manager focuses on identifying world class businesses listed in Europe. The kind of businesses he looks for have a unique product or service that gives them strong growth prospects, not only in their local markets but internationally.
The manager's priority is to understand the individual businesses and invest purely on the basis of sound fundamentals. He prefers to limit business risk, rather than index risk, by focusing on quality companies as opposed to index constituents.
Fund manager
Alex Darwall assumed management of the Fund in January 2001.
