Jupiter China Fund (Inc)  

The Jupiter China Fund looks to invest in companies operating in China and other countries the manager believes conduct a material proportion of their business in China, or derive a material proportion of their earnings from activities in China.

The Fund was created for investors who want exposure to the next phase of growth in the Chinese economy. Export-driven growth has already propelled China into the world's fourth largest economy; and now, the government is nurturing the domestic economy to create more balanced and sustainable growth.

Fund manager
Philip Ehrmann assumed management of the Fund in October 2006.

  • Manager believes there are three elements to the development of the Chinese economy: the export market; the emergence of middle income countries; and the creation of new service sectors - the latter two of which most interest him as an investor
