Jupiter Cash Fund

The Jupiter Cash Fund provides investors with a low-risk haven from sometimes volatile equity markets and invests predominantly in Sterling based bank deposits, Certificates of Deposit and other money market instruments.

The fund manager, Caroline Horsford, aims to produce a robust level of income combined with a high degree of security. It offers easy access, a competitive rate of interest and no initial charge. This allows investors to use the Fund as a cost effective short-term savings account whilst readjusting their portfolio or, as individual and world equity market circumstances change, when deciding where to place new investment funds on a more long-term basis.

Fund manager
Caroline Horsford assumed management of the Fund in December 2000.

The value of an investment in a unit trust and the income from it can fall as well as rise and may be affected by exchange rate variations and you may not get back the amount you invested.

Fund prices and yields are calculated as at the valuation point on 31/05/2008. Lipper ratings are sourced from Lipper as at 31/05/2008. Please see the online glossary within the help section for further definition of these ratings.

Please note that investment into the Cash Fund over a long period of time may result in the real value of your investment being eroded due to the effects of inflation, which would reduce the purchasing power of your money.

The Distribution Yield reflects the annualised income net of the expenses in the fund (calculated in accordance with the relevant accounting standards) as a percentage of the mid-market unit price of the Fund as at the date shown. It is based on a snapshot of the portfolio on that day. It does not include any initial charge and investors may be subject to tax on their distributions.
